Still in tank last summer, the 2022 Cotes du Rhone Cuvee Maclura boasts charming layers of blueberries, raspberries and black cherries. A blend of approximately 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% each Cinsault and Mourvèdre, it's full-bodied and nicely concentrated, with a taut feel on the palate and a long, dusty finish. |

The red 2022 Bhilar, a village wine from Elvillar, was produced with grapes from their younger biodynamic vines and is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Viura and 10% Graciano. It was produced with 20% full clusters that fermented with indigenous yeasts. It matured in 225- and 500-liter French oak barrels for one year. It has 14% alcohol and is balsamic and exotic, with notes of cola nut and other spices and herbs. The palate is juicy and round, with clean and focused flavors and fine tannins. 26,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2023. |

The 2022 Lágrimas de Bhilar Graciano managed to keep the moderate alcohol and freshness in a warm year like 2022. It was produced with grapes from younger vineyards, fermented in concrete and matured in 8,000-liter oak vat. It's aromatic, herbal, spicy and minty, very showy, juicy and with a soft mouthfeel. Delicious and easy to drink. 10,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2023. |

The 2022 Bhilar Blanco is a blend of 80% Viura and 20% Garnacha Blanca from biodynamic vines that were harvested early in the warm 2022 vintage. It had 15 days of skin contact and fermented with indigenous yeasts. It matured in French oak containers of different sizes for one year. It's subtle, harmonious and elegant and has a moderate 12.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.34. It has a powerful and balanced mouthfeel and a dry, long finish. 18,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2023. |
