2024	Mas d'En Gil	Bellmunt Vi de Vila Blanc	The very young village white 2024 Bellmunt Blanc was produced with 60% Macabeo from limestone soils and 40% Garnacha Blanca on sandstone soils. It has a green color and a very medicinal and balsamic nose of a young Mediterranean white, all fennel, fresh aromatic herbs and white flowers. It has a solid palate with clean and pungent flavors, tasty and balanced, as well as contained ripeness and 13% alcohol, vibrant, fresh and direct. 9,218 bottles produced. 2020	Mas d'En Gil	Coma Vella	The red 2020 Coma Vella was produced with a blend of 70% Garnacha Peluda and Garnacha de País, 20% Cariñena and 10% Syrah (from limestone soils) from a warm, ripe and powerful year. It fermented with some 10% to 20% full clusters and indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and oak vats and matured for 12 months in oak containers of different sizes, with around 15% to 20% new wood. It's ripe without excess, Mediterranean and aromatic, a little earthy and rustic, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins that call for food. 18,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2022. 2020	Mas d'En Gil	Coma Blanca Vinyes Velles	The Mediterranean white 2020 Coma Blanca was produced with Macabeo and Garnacha Blanca (50% each) from four old plots on slate, alluvial and limestone soils, which seem to give it complexity and an extra dimension. It fermented and matured for nine months in 500-liter oak barrels, 30% of them new. It's not a shy wine; it hits the scale at 15% alcohol but keeps the balance and poise. It has a bright, almost fluorescent yellow color and a showy, ripe and decadent nose of caramelized yellow fruit, pollen and beeswax. NV	Elevación1250	Blanco	With the word “Elevación” in its name, it might come as some surprise that this is a valley tequila. Its profile is green, herbaceous, mineral-rich, and will appeal to anyone who loves the pyrazines of a Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, or, more obscurely, Carménère. 2021	Heartland	Spice Trader Shiraz Langhorne Creek	The 2021 Spice Trader Shiraz is juicy, mouthfilling, sweet and spicy. There is loads going on; there's no break of flavor across the mouth, no intrusion of oak or any unwelcome characters… this is pure pleasure, a slip "n" slide of fruit flavor and padded, airy tannins. 2023	Jean-Marc Burgaud	Morgon Cote du Py	The 2023 Morgon Côte du Py, located in the lieu-dit of Côte du Py, has a beautiful bouquet of dark berry fruit, black tea and mineral-laden bergamot. 2023	Jean-Marc Burgaud	Morgon 'Grands Cras'	The 2023 Morgon Grands Cras is a step up in intensity from the Les Charmes. Blackberry, raspberry and light wild mushroom scents emerge with time. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins framing pure red fruit. A lovely rondeur towards the finish makes this Morgon so caressing, yet there is structure behind it. Excellent.
