2023 Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon Cote du Py The haunting bouquet of violets, forest floor, red beets and berries holds you in its gentle grip so that you have to force yourself to take a sip. But when you do, the combination of great concentration and finesse is truly breathtaking. Dazzling mineral freshness in the almost endless finish. Fermented and matured in concrete tanks. Drink or hold. James Suckling 99 2025-04-10
2023 Jean-Marc Burgaud Beaujolais 'Lantignie' I love the violet aroma of this elegant and juicy, medium-bodied Beaujolais. A delicious wine with a good structure and healthy tannins, without that making it bold or heavy. Long, moderately dry finish. From four hectares of vineyards with 45 to 70-year-old vines. Fermented and matured only in concrete tanks. Bottled late April 2024. James Suckling 92 2025-04-10
2022 Isabel Estate Chardonnay The 2022 Chardonnay is rich and robust on the nose, with pulpy stone fruit and ripe mango. In the mouth, the wine is salty, fleshy and round, almost oily in texture, with white pepper and flowers. Through the finish, the phenolics and acid eddy in and around the fruit, making for a satisfying close to the wine. Not hugely complex, but it is satisfying. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. 2023 Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon Corcelette Please let me lie in this bed of violets and velvet and forget the world. In spite of the great concentration on the suave, medium-bodied palate, this is so fresh, delicate and precise. Then comes the sensuous and energetic crescendo of a finish that sweeps you away. From 0.8 hectares of 95-year-old vines. Fermented and matured in concrete tanks. Drink or hold. James Suckling 98 2025-04-10

NV Bluebird Distilling Char and Stave Coffee Liqueur Made with Arabica coffee from roaster Char and Stave and a vodka base from Bluebird. The appearance, aroma and flavor suggest lightly sweetened cold brew coffee, finishing with hints of plum skin and clove heat. Would be stellar in an espresso martini. Wine Enthusiast 94 2025-04-07
2022 Carol Shelton Zinfandel 'Wild Thing' Mendocino County A Zin with pizzaz and an easy-going personality, this serves up lively cherry, cranberry, grilled sage and black pepper flavors that end on a perky note. Drink now through 2031. Wine Spectator 92 2025-04-07
