2022	Mas d'En Gil	Coma Calcari	The 2022 Coma Calcari is a Mediterranean Garnacha Blanca from limestone soils fermented with indigenous yeasts, with 50% of the wine in 500-liter barrels and 50% in stainless steel, where the wine matured for nine months. It's riper than the previous year, reflecting a warmer (and drier) vintage, with 14.5% alcohol. It has a showy, extroverted personality, with notes of yellow flowers and fruit, plenty of pollen and herbal tea notes, aromatic herbs and a salty/savory twist. The palate is round and lush but with refreshing chalky minerality. It's a triumph over the vintage, expressing the Mediterranean character of the year and place. 4,218 bottles produced. 2021	Mas d'En Gil	Bellmunt Vi de Vila	The 2021 Bellmunt Negre is a village wine that showcases the freshness of the Garnacha fruit, which represents 70% of the blend this vintage, complemented with Cariñena from vines planted between 1996 and 1998. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in concrete and used 3,000-liter oak vats for 10 months. It has a bright ruby color, and the nose is all sweet Garnacha fruit, red berries and a spicy and earthy twist. It's medium to full-bodied, with very fine and elegant tannins. 2020	Mas d'En Gil	Clos Fontà Vinyes Velles	The red 2020 Clos Fontà is a traditional old-vine blend of 60% Garnacha from slate and 40% Cariñena from slate and granite soils. It fermented in 1,500-liter oak foudre and open-top 225-liter barrels and matured in 225-liter barrels and 1,500-liter foudre (30% new oak) for 14 months. It comes in at 15% alcohol, which is compensated by notable acidity. This seems to keep the more classical profile, ripe, heady and dusty, like the dirt paths between the vineyards. It has some spicy smokiness and a hint of volatility with wet slate and abundant, slightly dusty tannins. 2024	Mas d'En Gil	Bellmunt Vi de Vila Blanc	The very young village white 2024 Bellmunt Blanc was produced with 60% Macabeo from limestone soils and 40% Garnacha Blanca on sandstone soils. It has a green color and a very medicinal and balsamic nose of a young Mediterranean white, all fennel, fresh aromatic herbs and white flowers. It has a solid palate with clean and pungent flavors, tasty and balanced, as well as contained ripeness and 13% alcohol, vibrant, fresh and direct. 9,218 bottles produced. 2020	Mas d'En Gil	Coma Blanca Vinyes Velles	The Mediterranean white 2020 Coma Blanca was produced with Macabeo and Garnacha Blanca (50% each) from four old plots on slate, alluvial and limestone soils, which seem to give it complexity and an extra dimension. It fermented and matured for nine months in 500-liter oak barrels, 30% of them new. It's not a shy wine; it hits the scale at 15% alcohol but keeps the balance and poise. It has a bright, almost fluorescent yellow color and a showy, ripe and decadent nose of caramelized yellow fruit, pollen and beeswax. 2020	Mas d'En Gil	Coma Vella	The red 2020 Coma Vella was produced with a blend of 70% Garnacha Peluda and Garnacha de País, 20% Cariñena and 10% Syrah (from limestone soils) from a warm, ripe and powerful year. It fermented with some 10% to 20% full clusters and indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and oak vats and matured for 12 months in oak containers of different sizes, with around 15% to 20% new wood. It's ripe without excess, Mediterranean and aromatic, a little earthy and rustic, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins that call for food. 18,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2022. NV	Elevación1250	Blanco	With the word “Elevación” in its name, it might come as some surprise that this is a valley tequila. Its profile is green, herbaceous, mineral-rich, and will appeal to anyone who loves the pyrazines of a Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, or, more obscurely, Carménère. 2021	Heartland	Spice Trader Shiraz Langhorne Creek	The 2021 Spice Trader Shiraz is juicy, mouthfilling, sweet and spicy. There is loads going on; there's no break of flavor across the mouth, no intrusion of oak or any unwelcome characters… this is pure pleasure, a slip "n" slide of fruit flavor and padded, airy tannins.
