Cuvee Reserve Blanc Chateauneuf-du-Pape |
Beautiful ripe apple, honeyed white flowers, and baking spice define the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Réservée Blanc, and it picks up a certain Riesling-like mineral and petrol nuance with time in the glass. It's beautifully textured, medium-bodied, has a layered, seamless mouthfeel, and a great finish. This is a classic, beautifully pure, clean white with tons of character. I love it today, yet this should have a solid decade or more of overall longevity. Drink 2025-2035. |

Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Cuvee Reserve' |
Tasted from multiple foudre, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Réservée is a big, rich, opulent wine with exotic red and black fruits, as well as garrigue, saddle leather, and spice. It's medium to full-bodied, round, supple, and sexy. It shows the riper side to the vintage and might have a kiss of the 2003 in its overall style, yet perhaps with a touch more freshness. |

Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley Lot 01 |
Aromas of black fruit, chocolate, red currants, dried herbs, graphite and earth. The palate is well balanced, with a rounded mouthfeel, fine-grained tannins and a soft and fruit-driven finish. There’s plenty of generosity and complexity for the price. Drink or hold. |

Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Vignobles de la Serriere' |
One of the deeper hued wines in the vintage, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Vignobles De La Serrière is based on 75% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre from galets roulés and sandy safre soils, aged 18 months in older barrels and stainless steel. It offers ample blackberries, darker cherries, scorched earth, and peppery garrigue in a rich, classic, old school style. Medium to full-bodied, with a rich, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish, this effort is perfect for drinking over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2025-2038. |

Domaine du Pegau |
Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Cuvee Reserve' |
Beautiful stuff and one of the gems in the vintage, the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Réservée shows ripe black cherries, scorched earth, sandalwood, and incredibly peppery garrigue and spice. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate and has a pure, focused, concentrated mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It's a serious, classic Pegau that has so much to love and will shine for another 40 years in cold cellars. It reminds me of the 2015. Drink 2025-2065. #21 on Jeb Dunnuck's Top 100 Wines of 2025 |

This is a pure, vivid expression of chardonnay, the green apples, lemons and stony minerality balanced nicely by a weighty mid-palate. Unoaked and fermented entirely in stainless steel—hence the name. Well crafted. Drink now. |
