2019	Andrea Oberto	Barolo	The Andrea Oberto 2019 Barolo del Comune di La Morra is a charming wine with accessible, softly layered fruit. There are ripe cassis and blackcurrant aromas with sweet spice and earthy iris root. The open-knit and immediate side of this wine from La Morra must be underlined, as should the powerful 15% alcohol content. Given those traits, this remains an informal, near-term Barolo.
