2023 Sandro Fay Valtellina Superiore 'Valgella' The 2023 Valtellina Superiore Valgella is airy, gracious and super expressive. Kirsch, mint, white pepper, herbs and mint are all finely knit. Silky contours and gorgeous mid-palate pliancy add to a feeling of finesse. This is very nicely done. Vinous 91 2026-03-20
2023 Rocamadre Malbec Paraje Altamira In Argentina’s Uco Valley, a movement toward terroir is taking hold. In Argentina “paraje” translates to a specific place or spot, used here to represent the expression of a certain vineyard site. Paraje Altamira, where this wine comes from, was the first region in Argentina designated by soil composition rather than political boundaries. This wine embraces that philosophy, offering a beautiful, terroir-driven experience. The nose is earthy, with notes of mushroom and soil complemented by hints of aged balsamic. On the palate, it is composed and mineral-forward, featuring medium depth and fine tannins. The finish is lingering and savory. Voted VinePair's The Best Malbec From Argentina. VinePair 94 2026-03-20
2023 La Fiorita Rosso di Montalcino The 2023 Rosso di Montalcino is perfumed in the glass, with crushed violets, blood orange and black cherries. This is deeply textural, silken and serene, with crisp acidity and citrus-laced wild berry fruits. The tart finish leaves a gentle inner tension and hints of black raspberry. Vinous 92 2026-03-20
2021 Sandro Fay Valtellina Superiore Valgella Riserva 'Carteria' The 2021 Valtellina Superiore Valgella Riserva Vigneto Carteria is soft, delicate and very pretty, all of which make it a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Kirsch, mint, sweet red cherry, spice and vanillin all meld together. This soft, forward Valtellina is all charm. Vinous 93 2026-03-20
2022 Le Cadeau Pinot Noir 'Merci Reserve' Chehalem Mountains Amaro cherries, ripe plums and figs alongside anise and cinnamon. The medium-bodied palate shows plush, dark-fruit flavors of black cherries and bitters, with spiced-oak tannins. Drink now. James Suckling 90 2026-03-19
2022 Domaine Porte Rouge Chateauneuf du Pape Less floral than the 2021 but richer and suppler in style, Porte Rouge's 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape is full-bodied and creamy in texture, delivering lush waves of black cherry fruit and a long, velvety finish. It should be a beauty, but note that it's not scheduled to be bottled until October 2024. Wine Advocate 94-96 2026-03-19
2020 La Fiorita Brunello di Montalcino 'Riserva' Pine, eucalyptus, Mediterranean scrub, cherry, blackberry, plum and mineral flavors abound in this multifaceted red.
