2016 Domaine Yves Cheron Cuvee Jurassique Gigondas Rich blueberry and cherry notes mark the nose of the 2016 Gigondas Jurassique. A blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah, it's full-bodied, ripe and velvety in texture, ending on hints of crushed stone that give it a welcome dry, savory edge. Wine Advocate 92 2019-10-14
2015 La Fiorita Brunello di Montalcino A rich Brunello with plenty of ripe-fruit, spice, porcini-mushroom and nutmeg character. Full body. Dense and flavorful. Ripe and polished tannins. Excellent structure and focus. Give this time to come together. Try after 2021. James Suckling 95 2019-10-04
2017 Lumos Wine Co Rudolfo Pinot Gris Willamette Valley Lumos’s pinot gris is named for the Rudolph family, which owns Logsdon Ridge, ten acres of pinot gris that Dai Crisp has managed since 2000. The wine is so lean and minerally that it might be hard to notice all of the complexity rumbling beneath the surface: the bruised-apple and spiced-pineapple headiness, the grippy phenolics rushed along by nervous, jittery acidity. Give it six months in the cellar before pouring with arctic char. Wine & Spirits 90 2019-10-04
2016 Lafond Winery Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills Intriguing aromas of red cherry, mulberry, turned earth and rainy gravel show on the nose of this bottling by one of the region's earliest producers. The palate is dark and earthy with flavors of boysenberry, star anise, rhubarb and cardamom pods, all wrapped in fresh acidity. Wine Enthusiast 93 2019-10-04
2016 Lafond Winery Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills The 2016 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills is medium ruby-purple with appealing, layered aromas of red licorice, crushed red cherries and cranberries, raspberry preserves, fragrant earth, dried violets and Earl Grey tea leaves. Medium-bodied, it offers great flavor intensity with a grainy frame and very juicy freshness, finishing long with sweet red fruits. Wine Advocate 91 2019-10-04
2015 Mas d'En Gil Bellmunt Dense but not heavy, with easygoing aromas and flavors of flowers, red fruits and stones. New York Times 3 Stars 2019-10-04
2015 Dunham Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon XXI Coming from 100% Cabernet and aged 18 months in 50% new French oak, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon XXI offers terrific crème de cassis, toasted spiced, dried flowers, and hints of cedar box. Elegant, medium to full-bodied, and balanced, it shines for its purity and elegance as well as its texture. Drink it over the coming 10-12 years or more. Jeb Dunnuck 92+ 2019-10-01
2017 Yves Cheron Cuvee Jardin d'Eden Vacqueyras While I can’t say it’s a value at the listed price, the 2017 Vacqueyras Jardin D'Eden is nevertheless beautifully done and an outstanding wine. Perfumed notes of wild strawberries, plums, violets, ground pepper and garrigue all flow to a pretty, elegant Vacqueyras that has fine tannins, moderate mid-palate depth, and a great finish. It’s all about finesse and elegance and will keep for 7-8 years. Jeb Dunnuck 90 2019-09-26
