2016	Decibel Wines	Testify Red	Floral, peppery and fine, with loads of black cherry and cassis fruit, the 2016 Testify Malbec is a solid effort. It's medium to full-bodied but tight and focused, showing excellent length, while the tannins are fine-grained and streamlined, framing the fruit and pushing it forward to extend the finish. 2013	Marziano Abbona	Pressenda Barolo DOCG	Smoke, tar, licorice, dried herbs and shades of dark fruit give the 2013 Barolo Pressenda its brooding, virile personality. A wine of muscle and staying power, the 2013 is going to need at least a few years to come into its own. 2014	Decibel Wines	Martinborough Pinot Noir	Baked Cherry Pie and toasted nuts oscillate the nose with hints of earthy mushrooms and grainy raspberry that will develop as the wine ages. Rosemary, sweet tobacco, bing cherry, wet leaves, red currant, and hints of violets and bay leaves all contribute to the complex and alluring nose of this wine. The palate is vibrant and crunchy in its youth with slightly edgy ‘minerality’. The wine has a medium body with a bit of white pepper, spice and dusty tannins on the finish. 2014	Decibel Wines	Martinborough Pinot Noir	Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Single Vineyard Martinbrough Pinot Noir gives fragrant notes of lavender, dried Provence herbs and fallen leaves with a core of cranberries and red currants. Medium-bodied, it is elegantly fruited with great freshness and lift for the leafy / herbal character, nicely complimenting the fruit, finishing long with a nice chewy grip.
