2019	Bodega Cuarto Dominio	Lote 44 Malbec Mendoza	Extremely aromatic with crushed berries, wet earth and smoke. Some cedar and stone, too. Medium to full body. 2015	Elia Palazzesi - Collelceto	Brunello di Montalcino	Deep red-ruby. Earth tones and herbs dominate the nose at first, slightly suppressing the violet and red cherry aromas underneath. 2018	La Fiorita	Rosso di Montalcino	Vivid red. Aromas of violet, red berries and herbs on the inviting nose. Balances fresh juicy red fruit flavors with more savory echoes of allspice and herbs. Lingers nicely on the bright finish. Made from the estate’s youngest Sangiovese vines, La Fiorita first made a Rosso di Montalcino only in the 2014 vintage.	Vinous	90		2020-04-02
2015	La Fiorita	Brunello di Montalcino	Deep red with ruby tinges. Violets, flint, herbs and a note reminiscent of carbonic maceration on the nose and in the mouth. Chunky and currently monolithic in the mouth, with saline and savory strokes on the clean, medium-long finish. A smooth, easygoing Brunello that offers early accessibility and appeal, if not mind-boggling complexity and size. This is the first vintage to be entirely aged in used 25-36hL used Slavonian and French oak barrels (in other words, no barriques) and the first to be entirely made by the new consultant winemaker, Maurizio Castelli. Though it’s pleasant to drink right now (like many 2015 Brunellos are) I suggest cellaring this to allow for further development and complexity.	Vinous	91+		2020-04-02
2015	Verbena	Brunello di Montalcino Le Pope	Good full red. Musky, tangy red berries, minerals and violet on the bright nose. Then juicy and vibrant, with palate-staining ripe red and blue fruit flavors complicated by mint and sweet spices. Showcases distinctly suave tannins on the not exceptionally long finish.
