2014	Luigi Tecce	Taurasi Riserva 'Puro Sangue'	The 2014 Taurasi Riserva Puro Sangue lifts from the glass with a remarkably pretty display of Aglianico fruit, showing crushed blackberries in an air of smoky minerals, with hints of lemon zest, then leaning more toward the earthy spectrum as notes of undergrowth develop. On the palate, soft textures are excited by vibrant acids, as tart black fruits cascade across the senses over a core of subtle tannins, yet it remains fresh throughout. The finish is long and buzzing with energy, tugging at the cheeks with residual acids, which perfectly balances its youthful structure. 2014	Luigi Tecce	Taurasi Riserva ‘Poliphemo Vecchie Vigne'	The 2014 Taurasi Riserva Poliphemo Vecchie Vigne is a gorgeous expression of Taurasi, making use of the cool 2014 vintage to create an understated yet alluring display, showing dark fruits, offset by floral tones, as hints of smoke and animal musk evolve in the glass. On the palate, silky textures give way to notes of blackberry and tart cherry with a hint of savory herbs, as grippy tannins slowly saturate the senses. The finish is long and classically structured, slowly tapering off to reveal a mineral coating with a lasting twang of tart berries, which seems to last for over a minute.
