2021	Domaine Jean Royer	Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Tradition'	A solid classic cuvée that's going to shine on the dinner table over the coming 8-10 years, the 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape (85% Grenache noir and the rest Mourvèdre and Cinsault) has pretty cherry and darker berry fruits as well as some Burgundian-like forest floor, peppery herbs, and spicy nuances. Medium to full-bodied and mouth-filling, it has plenty of red and blue fruits, some classic Gigondas Provençal herb and floral notes, ripe tannins, and a great finish.
