Saint-Peray Fleur de Crussol |
Rich on the nose, aromas of freshly squeezed orange and peach are in concert with notes of dusty dandelions, white peppercorn and stone. The palate is opulent, with flavors of ripe green and Korean pears, and candied lemon peel embraced by warm round stones, cardamom, white pepper and white flowers. Its round and textured mouthfeel is marked by a pronounced glycerol edge that dissipates with proper decanting. |

Bella's Garden Shiraz |
This is a concentrated, rich, old-school style Shiraz with notes of cherry cola, dusting polish and blackberry jam. There’s a fair lick of oak showing here. The palate is equally high octane, with powerful tannins, oodles of tangy fruit and spice. It’s not for the faint of heart, but that lift of acidity keep things in check, and suggests a good deal of aging in this bottle’s future. |

Cuvee Reserve Blanc Chateauneuf-du-Pape |
The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Réservée Blanc showed beautifully, with an exotic, tropical style in its honeyed orange, melon, minty herb, and tangerine-like nuances. It's medium-bodied, has a round, layered mouthfeel, good acidity, and a great finish. The classic cuvée here is based largely on Clairette (60%) yet includes smaller amounts of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Bourboulenc, and it’s raised all in stainless steel. |

Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Prestige' Rouge |
The 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Prestige from Jean-Marie is a juicy, elegant wine in the vintage that has lots of savory strawberry and mulled cherry-like fruits as well as medium-bodied richness and depth, solid, peppery garrigue aromatics, fine tannins, and outstanding length. It's nicely balanced, lively, and elegant. |

Vacqueyras 'Cuvee Jardin d'Eden' |
An even split of Grenache and Syrah, Yves' 2022 Vacqueyras Jardin D'Eden is medium ruby-hued with attractive red plum and mulled strawberry fruit interwoven with peppery herbs, sandalwood, and spice. It's medium-bodied, has some building tannins, and a good finish. |

Organic Chocolate Stout |
For drinkers with a sweet tooth, this English import does not disappoint. Big aromas of fudgy chocolate milk emerge from the glass and follow through on the palate, with sugary corner store candy bar flavors. |

Shiraz 'Gnarly Dudes' Barossa Valley |
There are black pepper, cherry and chocolate vibes to start here. They lead to a palate that’s big but surprisingly fresh thanks to a lift of tangy acidity, which brightens fruit and softens tannins. It’s no wallflower, but its power is reined in, allowing the fruit and site character to shine. Drink now and over the next seven to eight years. |

Sauvignon Blanc 'Clava' Casablanca Valley |
A fresh note of orange zest on the nose is inviting. Austere in character, this Sauvignon offers hints of grapefruit and green peas. It’s a great summer sipper or a good pairing for avocado salad due to its crisp acidity. Best Buy. |
