Ritual Heritage Blend |
A blend of 30% Grenache, 28% Mourvèdre, 18% Carignan,15% Syrah, and 9% Petite, the 2015 Ritual Heritage Blend comes from some seriously old vines and spent 20 months mostly in neutral oak. It’s awesome Rhône blend from California that gives up loads of darker berry fruits, ground pepper, lavender, incense and hints of cured meats. Deep, medium to full-bodied, elegant, and seamless, with fine-grained tannin, it’s a beauty that Rhône lovers shouldn’t miss. It has enough tannin to keep for 10-15 years. |

Chenas |
Vivid magenta. A focused, mineral-accented bouquet evokes fresh dark berries and violet, and a gamy element builds in the glass. Pliant and subtly sweet, offering concentrated black raspberry, bitter cherry and smoked meat flavors that tighten up steadily on the back half. Shows a leathery touch on the finish, which lingers with strong, sappy persistence. On the wild side; fans of the wines of Métras, for example, would approve, while others might not be so down with the funk. -- Josh Raynolds |

Vin de Kav Chiroubles |
Bright violet. Incisive, smoke-tinged raspberry, bitter cherry and peppery spice scents, along with subtle floral and game nuances. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry and red berry flavors that take a sweeter turn as the wine stretches out. Juicy acidity adds lift to a long, youthfully tannic finish that leaves a hint of earthy sassafras behind. -- Josh Raynolds |

Bright magenta. Pungent red and blue fruits, violet candy and a hint of game on the highly perfumed nose. Juicy, seamless and light on its feet, offering bitter cherry and boysenberry flavors and a refreshingly spicy jolt of white pepper. Silky, focused and appealingly sweet on the gently tannic finish, which strongly repeats the blue fruit and spice notes. -- Josh Raynolds |
