Deep opaque ruby/purple, with sweet crème de cassis and black cherry notes, some underbrush and forest floor, medium to full body, and outstanding purity and texture, it is not a big wine, but elegant, intense and authoritative. 2014	Keenan Winery	Cabernet Franc Spring Mountain District	Keenan has always done a knock-out job with their Cabernet Franc, and their 2014 Cabernet Franc from their estate vineyards on Spring Mountain (100% of this variety) shows wonderful forest floor, white flowers, and raspberry and blueberry notes that clearly suggest a cool climate wine. 2013	Keenan Winery	Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Spring Mountain District	The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from their Spring Mountain estate has a more saturated purple color, beautiful texture, loads of blueberry and blackcurrant fruit and a touch of spring flowers. This is clearly mountain, cool-climate Cabernet with full body, sweet tannin and impressive purity. This beautiful wine from Robert Keenan can be drunk now or cellared for 20 or more years. 2013	Andrea Oberto	Barolo	Oberto's 2013 Barolo is supple, forward and absolutely delicious. Now with a year in bottle, the 2013 is super-expressive. Sweet red cherry, plum, leather, rose petal and sweet spice infuse the succulent finish. The straight Barolo is done in a mid-weight, accessible style that has quite a bit to offer. Smoke- and spice-tinged dark berry cola mocha and succulent floral aromas show excellent delineation and pick up a minerally nuance on the back half. Supple and concentrated on the palate offering intense red and dark berry flavors sharpened by a peppery nuance that gains strength on the back half. 2016	Morgan Winery	Cotes du Crow's	Deep ruby. Aromas of cherry black currant and licorice are complicated by succulent floral and cracked pepper nuances. Dark berry and bitter chocolate flavors show good concentration and steadily become more energetic on the back half.
