2017 Keuka Spring Gewurztraminer A fragrant perfume of rose petals, melon, ginger and white pepper spice comes together in the glass. Succulent in feel, the palate is broad and oily, with supportive acidity and mild astringency maintaining balance. Flavors of juicy yellow apple, melon and spiced potpourri broaden the midpalate and lead to a delicate jasmine note on the lingering finish. Wine Enthusiast 90 2018-10-23
2014 David Arthur Cabernet Sauvignon 'Elevation 1147' The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Elevation 1147 is subtle, nuanced and polished. Silky tannins give the 2014 much of its supple, inviting personality. The Elevation is the most accessible of the 2014 Cabernets. In 2014, the Elevation has a bit more density than normal, but the style is one of restraint, as is the case with all of the wines here. Sweet red cherry, tobacco, spice and leather add aromatic intrigue, while the 100% new French oak adds mid palate sweetness and depth. Vinous 95 2018-10-22
2014 David Arthur Cabernet Sauvignon 'Elevation 1147' Named for the producer's high-elevation on Pritchard Hill, this is 100% varietal from one clone, aged in a wealth of French oak. Juicy, extracted berry flavor (both red and black) make it expansive on the palate, with elements of cocoa powder, sage, crushed rock and gravel adding intrigue and invitation. The tannins are sweet and polished. Age a bit and enjoy 2024–2034. Wine Enthusiast 96 2018-10-22
2014 David Arthur Cabernet Sauvignon 'Elevation 1147' Aromas of tar, blackcurrants and blackberries follow through to a full body with tight and velvety tannins and a pretty fruit and walnut undertone on the finish. Stone/slate highlights, too. Very polished and well defined. Give it three to four years to soften. Another red from here for the cellar. James Suckling 95 2018-10-22
2014 David Arthur Cabernet Sauvignon Three Acre The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Three Acre is soft, open-knit and gracious at the outset, before the firm Pritchard Hill tannins kick in. Sweet red cherry, plum, mint and dusty tannins are among the signatures. Tightly wound today, the 2014 needs at least few years to show at its best. The Three Acre is the entry-level Cabernet at David Arthur but it is a serious wine that demands at least a few years in the cellar. Vinous 92 2018-10-22
2014 David Arthur Cabernet Sauvignon Three Acre Very perfumed with raspberry and blueberry aromas plus hints of flowers. Full body and vivid fruit, yet this is floral and agile on the finish. A tight and precise red. Drink in 2020. James Suckling 93 2018-10-22
2014 David Arthur Meritaggio This blends 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Franc. Pretty and inviting, it's bright and grippy, highly enjoyable in its fleshy mix of strawberry and mocha, with deliciously good structure. Wine Enthusiast 92 2018-10-22
2016 Two Hands Wines Bella's Garden Shiraz Dark inky red and oozes the same coloured fruit into a matrix of spice with blackstrap liquorice and curranty essence leading onto a full-bodied, decisive palate. Tannins – an abundance of them, flavour through and through and yet this is contained, never straying into the too big territory. James Halliday 95 2018-10-22
2011 Domaine du Grand Arc Corbieres Quarante The 2011 Corbieres Cuvee de Quarante is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan that comes from higher elevation (200-500 meters), clay and limestone soils. After spending a year in used barrels and demi-muid, it offers knockout aromas of spiced raspberries, leather and licorice to go with an elegant, incredibly pure and seamless profile on the palate. Possessing superb richness, it stays light on the palate and finishes with polished tannin. Drink it over the coming 5-8 years. Wine Advocate 92 2018-10-22
2013 Keenan Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Spring Mountain District The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from their Spring Mountain estate has a more saturated purple color, beautiful texture, loads of blueberry and blackcurrant fruit and a touch of spring flowers. This is clearly mountain, cool-climate Cabernet with full body, sweet tannin and impressive purity. This beautiful wine from Robert Keenan can be drunk now or cellared for 20 or more years.
