Stunning mineral energy and focus on the medium-bodied palate. You can almost taste the wind that whips over this hilltop site. The density, elegance and finesse all make this stand out on the medium- to full-bodied palate. Very long, compact and refined finish that needs some time to open up fully. 2018	Chateau Montus	Madiran 'Prestige'	Aromas of mulberries, dark plums, peppercorns, bark and sweet spices. It’s full-bodied with fine tannins. Ample, with a velvety texture at the center. 2018	Chateau Montus	Madiran	A firm, serious and well-structured blend of 80% tannat and 20% cabernet sauvignon. Notes of dark plums, blackberries, dried herbs and baking spices emerge on the nose. It’s medium- to full-bodied with fine, firm tannins and fresh acidity. Plain and dense on the palate with more dark berry character and a touch of spices. Compact finish. Try from 2025.
