Cotes Du Rhone Les Peyrouses |
A racy, vibrant version, with a meaty iodine note infusing a base of raspberry and cassis. Shows nice ripeness for the vintage, with singed incense and baked earth accents. Gains drive from a graphite spine, which also firms up the supple palate. Solid. Drink now. 1,250 cases made, 400 cases imported. |

St. Peray Harmonie |
Slightly closed and, I suspect, in need of 6-12 months in bottle, the 2022 Saint-Péray Harmonie has attractive peach and stone fruits as well as some spicy, toasty nuances. It's medium-bodied and has solid purity of fruit as well as outstanding length. |

Cornas Les Chailles |
A meaty, sanguine version, with a lot of floral perfume as well. Black cherry and boysenberry flavors merge with notes of iron and well-integrated toasty oak spice. Supple and well-knit, with tangy acidity driving tension and length. Best from 2025 through 2035. 1,200 cases made, 150 cases imported. |

Saint-Peray Fleur de Crussol |
Honeyed orange, rose, spice, and crushed stone-like mineral notes all emerge from the 2022 Saint-Péray Fleur De Crussol, a nicely balanced, medium-bodied effort that has good acidity, a structure, focused mouthfeel, and outstanding length. A beautiful wine, it will benefit from a year in bottle and I suspect still be drinking well in 2032. |

Cornas Chapelle Saint-Pierre |
Smoked bacon fat and black pepper permeate a base of supple plum and baked black cherry flavors in this smoky red, which shows good freshness. Full but not massive, this is round and smooth, with a subtle chewiness that adds textural complexity. Drinking beautifully now, but with a long life ahead in the cellar. Drink now through 2035. 200 cases made, 10 cases imported. |

Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes |
An elegant nose of steeped cherry and cassis is layered with dried bay leaf and rosemary, propped up by a wall of iron and iodine mineral. A leaner style in line with the vintage, this is sanguine and complex, with a lashing of salt. Best from 2025 through 2032. 1,400 cases made, 200 cases imported. |

Cornas Les Chailles |
Cassis, blue fruits, sappy garrigue, pepper, and violet notes define the 2022 Cornas Les Chailles from Voge. Medium to full-bodied, it has a pure, elegant mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and the vintage's ripe yet lively, focused style. It's unquestionably an outstanding Cornas and I suspect this beauty will offer pleasure right out of the gate. |

Cornas Chapelle Saint-Pierre |
The 2021 Cornas Chapelle Saint Pierre is upfront and expressive, with lots of red and blue fruits as well as candied violets, bouquet garni, and peppery, mineral-driven aromas and flavors. It's medium to full-bodied, has a round, layered, seamless texture, beautiful tannins, and a great finish. It's another remarkable 2021 from this estate that's going to have 15 years of overall longevity. |

Cornas Les Vieilles Fontaines |
The tiny production 2022 Cornas Les Vieilles Fontaines comes from the site of the estate’s oldest Syrah vines, an 80-year-old vineyard planted in granite soil. It's a sensational looking barrel sample that's going to rank with the top handful of wines in the appellation. Cassis, blueberries, spring flowers, game, and liquid violet notes are just some of its nuances, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a layered, broad mouthfeel, and ripe yet certainly present tannins. It's going to need 3-5 years of cellaring but will evolve for two decades. |
