The Côtes du Rhône originates in parcels of Syrah in the northern part of the Rhône Valley.

Vineyard

Exclusively handgrown, 12 hectares of Syrah and Marsanne grapes, on the right bank of the Rhône, from Tournon to Saint-Péray. 6.5 ha of Syrah are planted on very decomposed granite slopes, locally called “gore”, among the finest in the area of the Cornas appellation.

Vinification

Vinification is similar to that of the Cornas, with maceration for 3 weeks, daily pigeages, grapes are destemmed.

Aging

15 months long, 100% 2-3 year old casks.
