2015 Cantina Plani Arche Montefalco Rosso Crushed black cherry, wild herbs, balsamic spice and hints of undergrowth come together to form a dark and moody bouquet on the 2015 Plani Arche Montefalco Rosso. On the palate, silky textures usher in fleshy ripe red fruit, as zesty acids add vibrancy, and a mix of sweet minerals and tannin slowly saturates the senses. The finish is long, teeming with energetic wild berry fruits and spice, with a twang of salty minerals contrasting a tug of grippy tannin. I find myself enamored of this wine and its unique blend which really shines through: 60% Sangiovese, 25% Barbera and 15% Sagrantino, all in perfect balance. Vinous 92 2020-06-30
2019 Waiana Estate Rose 'Summer Sault' Fabulously elegant, the wine shows white flesh nectarine, crunchy apple, lemon peel and white floral aromas on the nose with a hint of sweet strawberry. It's juicy, lively and vibrant on the palate, delivering pristine fruit flavours together with fine texture and bright acidity, finishing delightfully long and refreshing. At its best: now to 2022. 2019 Chateau de Lancyre Languedoc Rose Previous vintages were sold as Pic Saint Loup, but I suppose production of the 2019 Languedoc Le Rosé has expanded. It's still a blend of 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 10% Cinsault, with a medium-pink hue in the glass and attractive aromas of cherries, pineapple and grapefruit. It's full-bodied for a rosé—sitting at 14+% alcohol and showing some serious ripeness and weight on the palate—but it remains refreshing and lively on the citrusy finish. Wine Advocate 90 2020-06-30

2019 Chateau de Pampelonne Cotes de Provence Rose Limpid peach skin. Nervy and focused on the nose, displaying lively red berry and citrus zest aromas complemented by suggestions of succulent flowers and chalky minerals. Dry and lithe on the palate, offering juicy pomegranate, strawberry and blood orange flavors that pick up a spicy element on the back half.
