2019 Arrumaco Garnacha Rose Pure light pink. Showing an effusive fruity nose that evokes watermelon and summer berries, this rosé of Garnacha is soft on the attack and offers pomegranate and sweet red berry fruit flavors with vivid but not aggressive acidity. An especially good quaffing wine. i-Wine Review 90 2020-06-12
2017 Domaine Cabirau Maury Sec 'Serge & Marie' Named for owner Dan Kravitz's longtime vigneron (Serge) and the winemaker at the local co-op where the wine is made (Marie), the 2017 Maury Sec Serge & Marie offers subtle notes of leather layered over big black-cherry fruit and hints of garrigue and crushed stone. A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Carignan and 10% Syrah, aged in a combination of foudre and used barrels, it's full-bodied, supple and expansive in the mouth, where it picks up nuances of raspberries and pencil shavings before finishing with gently dusty tannins and a note of dark chocolate.
