NV Jean Laurent Brut Blanc de Noirs Being in the Aube, it is inevitable that Pinot Noir would feature heavily in its range. Five vintages have gone into this finely balanced wine with its touches of ripe apples and taut texture. This Champagne is ready to drink. Wine Enthusiast 90 2020-10-21
2018 Domaine de la Pauline Sancerre 'Les Montachins' With that extra year, this wine is now at its best. Ripe white fruits are balanced by a generous layer of acidity that has softened into rich spice and a rounded aftertaste. It is ready to drink. Wine Enthusiast 90 2020-10-21
2018 Morgan Chardonnay 'Highland' Santa Lucia Highlands Stony aromas of crisp nectarine, taut pear and chalk cut through the nose on this bottling. 2017 Lumos Pinot Noir ‘Temprance Hill’ Eola-Amity Hills This limited production reserve mixes ripe strawberry and tangy pie cherry fruit, with well-integrated highlights of earth and herb. 2015 Rocca di Castagnoli Chianti Classico Riserva 'Poggio a' Frati' A Chianti Classico with serious density and richness. Yet, this remains fresh and energetic. Medium to full body, a solid core of fruit and a long, flavorful finish. Drink or hold. James Suckling 94 2020-10-20
2018 Morgan Sauvignon Blanc Monterey This is a brilliantly bright and fresh bottling, starting with lime-zest, crushed stone and cut grass aromas. 2016 Keenan Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Keenan's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is powerful and a bit rough around the edges although it is certainly not lacking in character. Dark red cherry, savory herb, earthiness, tobacco and cedar add to the wine's somewhat rustic personality, and yet there is more than enough depth in the fruit to balance things out. Medium to full in body, but very much classically built the 2016 has so much to offer, especially for readers who can look past a few small blemishes. Vinous 91 2020-10-19
2015 Elia Palazzesi Brunello di Montalcino The Elia Palazzesi 2015 Brunello di Montalcino offers savory and warm aromas with forest floor and button mushroom alongside black fruit, toasted almond, leather and tobacco. There is a very distant animal-like tone that becomes more or less noticeable depending on the serving temperature of the wine. Besides that slightly rustic note, this wine follows a classic Sangiovese profile for Brunello. The mouthfeel is soft, silky and polished—a nice accompaniment to a classic Tuscan soup with cannellini beans and toasted bread. About 12,000 bottles were released. Wine Advocate 90 2020-10-15
2015 La Fiorita Brunello di Montalcino The 2015 Brunello di Montalcino stands out thanks to the very glossy and polished quality of the fruit on display. The smooth texture of the wine sets it apart and gives it a distinct personality. This expression drinks nicely out of the gate but could stand up to more cellar aging, especially to further finesse that silky, shiny texture. Some 21,500 bottles were made.
