2019	Rocca di Castagnoli	Chianti Classico	Rocca di Castagnoli's 2019 Chianti Classico is supple, racy and wonderfully inviting. Succulent red cherry, tobacco, mint, dried flowers and licorice are some of the many aromas and flavors that open in the glass. More than anything else, I am impressed with the wine's energy and vibrancy, which was a bit hard to come by in 2017. Bright, saline notes lift a core of sweet red berry fruit, chalk, white pepper, mint, sage and dried flowers. The flavors are so vivid in this super eloquent Riserva from Rocca di Castagnoli.
