Wild flowers, herbs and sweet red-fleshed fruit grace this pliant, beautifully layered Cabernet Franc from Keenan. All the elements are so well balanced. 2019	Keenan	Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley	The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is terrific. A bust of savory Cabernet aromatics opens first. Deep and persistent, the Cabernet is full of character from start to finish. Blue/purplish fruit, spice, leather, tobacco, menthol and pine all open in the glass. Plum, lavender, spice, dried herbs, leather and licorice lend striking aromatic nuance to play off a core of inky fruit. This mid-weight, classically built Cabernet delivers the goods, big time. 2019	Keenan	Merlot 'Mailbox Vineyard Reserve' Spring Mountain District	The 2019 Merlot Reserve Mailbox Vineyard is a powerful, savory wine. Dried herbs, lavender, spice, menthol and tobacco hit the palate, followed by searing tannins that lend quite a bit of presence. 2020	Col Vetoraz	Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze	The 2020 Dry Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze Iulls you in with a nuanced yet remarkably pretty bouquet of dusty dried flowers, white smoke and peach skins. This soothes the palate with silken waves of ripe fruit and sweet spices, all nicely contrasted by vibrant acidity and pretty inner florals that amass toward the close.
