2017 La Fiorita Brunello di Montalcino La Fiorita is part of a large group of boutique, artisanal producers who operate in Montalcino and contribute to the town's lively wine scene. The 2017 Brunello di Montalcino is light and silky in texture with cherry, earth and dried violets. The bouquet is delicate and so is the palate, save for that powerful 15% alcohol. This wine is a blend of fruit from the Collosorbo (Poggio al Sole), Pian Bossolino and Giardinello vineyards. Production is 20,000 bottles. Wine Advocate 92 2022-09-27
2016 La Fiorita Brunello di Montalcino 'Fiore di NO' We wanted to make a selection of our grapes.' No = Natalie Oliveros. This is a blend of all their three vineyards. Deep lustrous ruby. Huge nose of cherry with gentle, complex oak notes. Rich yet compact and with perfectly integrated acidity. This is big, but not brutal. Long, lush and juicy with a tannic kick on the finish and hints of gingerbread. Youthful sweetness indicates this needs more time in bottle. Jancis Robinson 17 2022-09-27
2017 La Fiorita Brunello di Montalcino Lustrous ruby. Deep cherry nose with sweet-spicy notes while a hint of gingerbread adds a sense of richness. Bags of ripe, succulent cherry fruit and chewy, but not rough tannins clinging to the fruit. Dramatic, long tannic fruit finish. Jancis Robinson 16.5 2022-09-27
2021 Giunta Sauvignon Blanc Intensely aromatic and instantly appealing with passionfruit, kaffir lime, nectarine and Granny Smith apple characters, its succulent and flavorsome in the mouth delivering terrific fruit power and persistency. Vibrant and super tasty. Sam Kim 93 2022-09-26
2021 Giunta Chenin Blanc Dry, flavorsome chenin blanc with green apple, tree fruit, grapefruit and a seasoning of curry powder-like pepperiness. Assertive acidity gives the wine a crisp, drying finish. An unusual and distinctive wine. Should develop well with bottle age. Bob Campbell 92 2022-09-26
2021 Giunta Malbec Nouveau Dense, flavorsome malbec with dark-fleshed plum, tamarillo, sweet herb, spice and floral flavors supported by a backbone of moderately sweet, ripe tannins. An heroic, generously proportioned wine. Bob Campbell 92 2022-09-26
2018 Mas d'En Gil Bellmunt Vi de Vila' Transparent ruby. Rich, mature bouquet that's not especially alcoholic but communicates the special minerality of a fine Priorat. Substantial fruity undertow suggests Grenache dominates (I wrote this before discovering the tech spec). It's certainly ready to drink already. Really nicely balanced wine that's not over the top – though it is clearly quite high in alcohol. Some persistence. Jancis Robinson 16.5 2022-09-21
2020 Morgan Chardonnay 'Highland' Santa Lucia Highlands White peach and creamy butter aromas are cut by steely minerality on the nose of this bottling. The palate shows a strong oak streak, with flavors of toasted nut and creamy stone fruit. Wine Enthusiast 91 2022-09-12
2021 Morgan Sauvignon Blanc Arroyo Seco The nose of this bottling has a maritime character, with aromas of seashore, wet grass, light apple flesh and serrano pepper. Those pyrazine elements dominate the palate too, from green peppercorn and more serrano to edgy lime flavors. Wine Enthusiast 91 2022-09-12
NV Spill the Wine Red Blend Tasting fresh, like just-picked blackberries, this effusively fruity but dry and well-structured wine is fun to drink. It is a little funky (reduced) at first whiff, then vibrant with acidity. Medium in body, it’s packed with juicy berry flavors that are easy to gulp. Best Buy. Wine Enthusiast 90 2022-09-12
