Tasting Note

The village red 2015 Bellmunt is produced with grapes from younger vines from deeper soils and shows sweet fruit. It's juicy, fresh and ripe without being jammy, as the palate is lighter than you think. It has a mixture of berries and a touch of orange peel that provide freshness. It's a blend of 60% Garnacha with 30% Cariñena and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Part of the wine is very lightly oaked in used 1,500- and 3,000-liter oak vats, while the rest was kept in concrete.
