2018	Mas d'En Gil	Bellmunt Vi de Vila'	Transparent ruby. Rich, mature bouquet that's not especially alcoholic but communicates the special minerality of a fine Priorat. Substantial fruity undertow suggests Grenache dominates (I wrote this before discovering the tech spec). It's certainly ready to drink already. 2020	Morgan	Chardonnay 'Double L Vineyard' Santa Lucia Highlands	Fine lines of toast and lemon curd make for a focused yet full nose on this bottling from organic grapes. NV	Spill the Wine	Red Blend	Tasting fresh, like just-picked blackberries, this effusively fruity but dry and well-structured wine is fun to drink. 2018	Domaine du Pegau	Cuvee Reserve Chateauneuf-du-Pape	The Cuvée Réservée is Pegau’s crown jewel, a profoundly ripe yet deeply nuanced wine made from a Grenache-dominant blend of 13 regional red grape varieties. Vinified entirely in whole bunches and matured in large 2-year-old oak casks, its black plum and cherry are sonorous and piercing, accented by whiffs of black pepper, leather and sage.
