2021	Barra	Chardonnay Mendocino	From first pour, the depth and complexity of this Chardonnay is immediately evident with pronounced aromas of ripe yellow and green apple, yellow peach and nectarine, cantaloupe and white and pink roses–dew-covered and warming in the morning sun. These fresh components are complemented by secondary notes of hazelnut, almond, vanilla and nutmeg. 2020	Barra	Pinot Noir Mendocino	A pale ruby in the glass, hedging toward an elegant rouge around the perimeter. Initial aromas include red cherry, cranberry, wild raspberry, vanilla, toasted wood and a hint of forest floor. An uplifted acidity brings those fresh fruits to light on the palate–a palate that presents complementing spices of dried nutmeg and cardamom not initially sensed on the nose.
