2024 Domaine Alain Voge Saint Joseph Les Cotes From a tiny hectare of relatively young vines outside of Mauves and aged 16 months in 400-liter oak barrels with no new oak, the 2024 Saint Joseph Les Côtes has a darker, more classic style compared to the lifted, exotic 2023, yet still has an incredibly floral character. Ripe plums, blueberries, violets, candied orange, and incense all shine here, and it's medium-bodied, with a supple, nicely balanced mouthfeel and a good finish. Jeb Dunnuck 90-92 2026-02-27
2023 Domaine Alain Voge Cornas Chapelle Saint Pierre First made in 2016 as a single vineyard release from older vines, the 2023 Cornas Chapelle Saint Pierre is perfumed, exotic, and floral on the nose, with ripe blue fruits, violets, graphite, and pepper, along with a bright, piercing sense of minerality. It's medium to full-bodied and has ripe, firmer tannins, terrific overall balance, and outstanding length on the finish. Aged 20 months in 228-liter oak barrels with no new oak, this shows the quality of this newer bottling and is well worth seeking out. It should benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age and evolve for 20 years or more. Drink 2030-2043. Jeb Dunnuck 95 2026-02-27
2024 Domaine Alain Voge Saint-Peray Fleur de Crussol Not scheduled to be bottled until spring of next year, the 2024 Saint-Péray Fleur De Crussol is cut from the same cloth as the 2023, with perhaps a touch less overall concentration. Stone fruits, honeyed flowers, crushed stone, and almond croissant define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with a focused, tight, elegant mouthfeel and outstanding length. As with the 2023, it shows that subtle kiss of Burgundy-like reduction. Jeb Dunnuck 92-94 2026-02-27

It's medium to full-bodied and has impressive mid-palate concentration, ripe, velvety tannins, and impressive length. Aged 20 months in 228-liter oak barrels with no new oak, this young, dense, unevolved barrel sample has plenty of potential. Jeb Dunnuck 92-94 2026-02-27
2024 Domaine Alain Voge Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes Not scheduled to be bottled until June, the 2024 Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes shows a deep purple hue and offers a pure, classy perfume of blue fruits, spring flowers, crushed stone-like minerality, and pepper. It's beautifully balanced and medium to full-bodied, with a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel and a great finish. This barrel sample is aged 20 months in 228-liter oak barrels with 10% new oak, and Cornas excelled in 2024, which you see here. Jeb Dunnuck 93-95 2026-02-27
2023 Domaine Alain Voge Cornas Les Chailles From a mix of terroirs, mostly from the lower lieux-dits with some younger vines from Saint-Pierre, the 2023 Cornas Les Chailles was completely destemmed and aged 18 months in 228-liter oak barrels with no new oak. It's a beautiful classic Cornas with ripe black fruits, bouquet garni, and peppery, violet nuances. It's medium to full-bodied, round, supple, and undeniably delicious. Beautifully pure aromatics of quince and tart peach intermixed with white flowers, almond paste, and a kiss of minerality define the bouquet. It's medium-bodied and balanced, with juicy acidity and plenty of mid-palate depth. Drink bottles over the coming 4-6 years. Jeb Dunnuck 91 2026-02-27
2023 Domaine Alain Voge Cornas Les Vieilles Fontaines Not yet bottled but tasted as a final blend, the 2023 Cornas Les Vieilles Fontaines delivers ripe, exotic aromatics of black and blue fruits, blood orange, violets, and incense, with some peppery nuances emerging with air. All the 2023s here have this exotic, lifted style, and this is medium to full-bodied, with a pure, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.
