2022 Domaine Yves Cheron Cotes du Rhone 'Les Dentelles' Black-cherry fruit leather meets violet, rose, and garrigue in a generous nose that is both refined and inviting. The palate is silky yet layered, balancing dried currant, licorice, flint, and a subtle meaty tone against supple texture. Sophisticated and complex, this is the kind of versatile bottle that impresses equally on casual game night or formal dinner. Serve at cellar temperature. Best Buy. Wine Enthusiast 91 2026-03-03
2024 Meadowcroft Pinot Noir Anderson Valley Fresh, youthful aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and citrus waft on the nose of this wine, with notes of dried herbs and florals. The lush mouthfeel delivers fuller fruits on the palate, including red raspberry, cardamom, sweet vanilla cream in the midpalate, and a dry, supple finish. Hidden Gem. Wine Enthusiast 91 2026-03-03
2021 Decibel Red Blend Gimblett Gravels ‘Testify’ Inky in color, this blend of Malbec and Syrah has all the ripe, rich, hug-in-a-glass qualities you'd expect from the combo of these varieties. The pepper-sprinkled ripe dark berry fruit is etched in toasty, chocolate notes. Still quite primary and plump, it's a classic steak wine, but should gain more complexity with another several years in bottle. Wine Enthusiast 91 2026-03-03
2024 Morgan Chardonnay 'Highland' Santa Lucia Highlands Tart and tangy aromas of lime peel and green apricot invite the nose into this zesty bottling. There's a tight weave to the palate, where flashy citrus flavors meet with warmer hints of stone fruit, all dusted in sea salt. Wine Enthusiast 94 2026-03-03
2024 Decibel Chardonnay Hawke’s Bay ‘Testify’ Lovely reductive struck match characters are present but not overwhelming on this small batch Chardonnay from ex-pat American Daniel Brennan. Toast, nougat, and nectarine soar, with weight and power to the palate but with freshness and a subtle core of fruit amid the toastier, more lactic characters. This could cellar for several more years but is drinking pretty darn beautifully right now. Wine Enthusiast 95 2026-03-03
2023 Moulin Rouge Haut-Medoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur The wine is smooth, full of ripe black fruits, and features rich tannins. The black-pepper aroma and dense texture is balanced by succulent acidity. The 45-acre vineyard is at the heart of the Haut-Médoc close to the Gironde estuary. Drink from 2028. 2024 Domaine Alain Voge Saint-Peray Fleur de Crussol Not scheduled to be bottled until spring of next year, the 2024 Saint-Péray Fleur De Crussol is cut from the same cloth as the 2023, with perhaps a touch less overall concentration. Stone fruits, honeyed flowers, crushed stone, and almond croissant define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with a focused, tight, elegant mouthfeel and outstanding length. As with the 2023, it shows that subtle kiss of Burgundy-like reduction. Jeb Dunnuck 92-94 2026-02-27
2023 Domaine Alain Voge Cotes Du Rhone Les Peyrouses Based on Syrah with smaller amounts of Grenache and Mourvèdre and aged 10 months in 10-year-old oak barrels, the 2023 Côtes Du Rhône Les Peyrouses comes from purchased fruit mostly from the northern part of the Southern Rhône. Beautiful Syrah character emerges in its red and black fruits, violets, ground pepper, and subtle bouquet garni-like nuances. It's medium-bodied, with a fresh, focused mouthfeel, supple tannins, and a good finish. This rock-solid Côtes du Rhône will offer ample pleasure over the coming 4-6 years. Drink 2026-2032. 2023 Domaine Alain Voge Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes Not yet on the market but bottled, the 2023 Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes reveals a lifted, exotic perfume of red, blue, and black fruits, candied violet, blood orange, and peppery, bouquet garni nuances. It's medium to full-bodied and has a round, layered mouthfeel, ripe yet firmer tannins, and outstanding length. Aged 20 months in 228-liter oak barrels with 10% new oak, it will drink well over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2026-2041. Jeb Dunnuck 94 2026-02-27
