Harvested in September, the juice was allowed to cold soak for 2 days then racked to a stainless steel tank to ferment naturally. It spent the winter months in neutral barrels and finished both fermentations in the spring. Bottled in August with Origine by Diam corks which use a 100% bio-based polyol, from a renewable source, are coasted with beeswax, and stamped with a heart.

Tasting Note

Wife-and-husband winemakering team Lynn Wheeler and Kenny Likitprakong named this one after their daughters, and as family heirlooms go, this has gotta beat a silverware set. Lynn's making this one, and working with some of the oldest (organic) Chardonnay plantings in the state (1944!)! Lynn works naturally - native yeast, barely any sulfur at bottling - but is after a classic, nigh-Burgundian expression of Chard. There's oak, yes, but it's neutral, balanced, and in service of the wine's intrinsic pleasures. Refreshing and bright with acidity, it's got notes of lemon, stone fruit, and white pear.
