Tasting Note

This wine is a blend of the Chen Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley and the Branham Rockpile Vineyard in the Rockpile AVA. Though only from two vineyards this year, the wine still captures the climatic diversity of the area. The grapes were fermented individually and blended at the first racking in February, including about 5% Petite Sirah also from the Branham Rockpile Vineyard. The final blend was aged in a French oak foudre and a single barrique.
