2018	La Fiorita	Brunello di Montalcino 'Fiore di NO'	Once called Fiore di No, the La Fiorita 2018 Brunello di Montalcino No is a darkly saturated, full-bodied wine with thick layers of black fruit, blackcurrant, sweet spice, earth and baking chocolate. 2019	La Fiorita	Brunello di Montalcino	Medium red. Ripe, fleshy aromas of red cherry, minerals, dried flowers and blood orange; an essence of Sangiovese. Savory, plush and seamless on entry, with pungent red cherry showing an almost liqueur-like sweetness but without any impression of heaviness. Features a rising whiplash of fruit on the long close, which features sweet tannins, firm acidity and a strong savory nuance. Dense, fleshy and sweet, this is an excellent 2018 Riserva, boasting strong saline minerality contributing to the impression of chewy extract. It begins with a pretty inner sweetness, casting silken textures across a stream of vibrant acidity as red and blue fruits swirl throughout. The 2018 tapers off with tension as the finish comes together with savory herbs and the mouth is left watering for more, even as grippy tannins pinch at the cheeks. 2019	La Fiorita	Brunello di Montalcino 'Fiore di NO'	The 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Fiore di NO opens with a rich blend of plum and cherry sauce, grilled herbs and cocoa. This displays velvety textures while maintaining a lovely freshness within. A wave of ripe red and black fruits flows across the palate, giving way to a staining of saline minerals. A bump of residual acidity keeps the mouth watering, even as grippy tannins penetrate deeply, leaving hints of dark, dark chocolate and cloves to fade slowly. 2019	La Fiorita	Brunello di Montalcino	2019 was a significant year for La Fiorita. It is the first vintage made in the estate’s new cellar as well as the inaugural release with organic certification for its vineyards. Progress at this estate is notable. Despite a pale garnet hue, aromas are expressive and vivacious. Garden herbs, Mediterranean shrub, rose and orange potpourri soar from the glass. The palate echoes, offering up sweet, lush red berries infused with mint and crushed dried flowers. Lovely liveliness.
