Boysenberry pie, blue plums, vanilla bean, and cedary herbs play front and center. 2022	Lava Cap	Cabernet Sauvignon El Dorado	Great herbal aromatics leap forward from this high mountain Cabernet sourced from four different sites in the Sierra Foothills—crushed stone minerality, green peppercorns, bay leaf frame cassis and blackberries with mint. The palate is well-structured and bright. Red and early season berry fruits are marked with fleshy bing cherry and candid raspberry notes.
