2022 Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon Corcelette The 2022 Morgon Corcelette, sourced from La Roche Pilée, is a vivid wine, showing high energy in contrast with its darker flavors of sappy blackberries, currants, peonies, dried herbs and candied peel. The medium to full-bodied wine boasts a firm structure in its youth with suede-like tannins that support the layered mid-palate, livened by its framing of succulent acids and its trace of anise-like bitterness that draws in the finish. While enjoyable now, the wine promises even greater refinement and complexity in the coming years. Wine Advocate 92+ 2024-06-05

2020 Dunham Cabernet Sauvignon 'XXVI' Columbia Valley The 2020 ‘Columbia Valley’ Cabernet Sauvignon was stored in 40% new French oak before bottling. Sagebrush and fresh thyme mark the nose alongside anise, creme de cassis and suggestions of cocoa powder. The palate is fresh and lithe with a soft texture. Medium to full-bodied, this is a total home-run considering the challenges of the vintage. No reason to cellar this beauty. Drink 2024-2039 Owen Bargreen 94 2024-06-05
