2013	Pursued by Bear	Baby Bear Syrah	Sporting a deep purple/ruby color, the 2013 Reserve is a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Merlot. It offers classic dark fruits, (currants, plum), chocolate, roasted herbs and even a touch of meatiness to go with a medium to full-bodied, supple, impressively textured style on the palate. 2012	Dominio de Eguren	Codice	Bright violet color. Black and blue fruit aromas are lifted by a peppery nuance and a hint of fresh flowers. Sappy and seamless in texture, offering juicy boysenberry and mocha flavors and a bracing kick of spiciness. Finishes silky and precise, with lingering spiciness and smooth tannins. 2012	Ramirez de la Piscina	Seleccion Reserva	Bright violet color. Highly expressive aromas of blackberry, cherry-cola, fresh flowers and peppery spices, with a gentle vanilla undertone. Open-knit black and blue fruit flavors show very good clarity and depth and gain sweetness with air. Finishes smooth, round and smoky, with excellent length and harmonious tannins. 2013	Bodegas Ordonez	Zerran	Brilliant ruby. Heady dark berry and floral pastille scents are complemented by notes of incense and mocha. Spicy, sweet and expansive on the palate, offering an array of dark fruit and spice qualities and a touch of smokiness. 2011	Bodegas Ordonez	Zerran	Even more so is the 2011 Zerran, which ratchets up the level of concentration and ripe fruit. It reveals abundant kirsch, lavender, black raspberry and dusty, loamy, earthy scents intermixed with notions of spring flowers and blackberries. There is not any oak evident in this dense effort. 2014	Mas d'En Gil	Bellmunt	The wine is medium intensity showing lots of spices such as licorice. It also has a leathery sensation with a dominant oak charge. The alcohol sensation is high.
