Trajet Reserve Pinot Noir |
The 2017 Pinot Noir “Trajet” Reserve is a perfumed and richly flavored distinctive wine, whole-cluster fermented in French oak for up to 18 months. It is not a typical cherry-fruited Oregon Pinot Noir, but rather shows an interesting blend of whole cluster-ripe dark red fruit with extended barrel aging. It is soft and round on the palate with good depth, ripe tannins and a pleasant finish. 80 cases |

Cornas Les Chailles |
A bright and fresh style, leading off with floral and bay leaf elements, followed by brisk-edged cassis and damson plum fruit flavors. The racy, mineral-pierced finish shows good persistence. Best from 2022 through 2032. |

25 Vendimias Garnacha Blanca |
I love the bright white-peach aroma and this is married to a properly dry palate that’s quite sleek and very linear. The tannins on the palate give just enough structure to extend the clean, slightly mineral finish. This makes it capable of aging a few years. Drink or hold. |

Trutina Columbia Valley |
A smoking value, the 2017 Trutina (54% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot) has lots of cassis and black cherry fruits interwoven with notes of crushed flowers, white chocolate, and lead pencil. Medium-bodied, seamless and elegant on the palate, it’s wonderfully polished and balanced, and drinks well above its price point. It should evolve for at least 7-8 years. |
