Vineyard

In the 2009 harvest, Paolo started producing a simpler Etna Rosso, which aims to be an everyday wine, and which every day brings us back to the aromas and flavors of the Nerello Mascalese which grows on the slopes of Etna. A wine which, as they say in Sicily, "Ciaurìa" from Etna. A wine that impresses with its disarming but not banal simplicity. A magic that occurs only when you encounter an extraordinary grape variety with a unique territory. Municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia and Randazzo (CT) at 750 meters above sea level with north/northeast exposure.

Vinification

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

Aging

6 months in second passage French barriques.

Aromas of dried berries, dried flowers and shaved chocolate open to a full body, firm and silky tannins and a polished, textured mouthfeel. So very pretty and harmonious.
