Dai Crisp and Julia Cattrall
Grapes come from the Logsdon Ridge Vineyard, managed by Dai Crisp. A small 10-acre family-owned vineyard planted entirely to Pinot Gris just north of Corvallis. It is a single upright trellis system with 9 x 5 spacing. It's low elevation gives a warm site that ripens very early. The vineyard only supplies 6 clients.
Whole cluster pressed. Fermented in stainless steel. Cold stabilized to remove unstable tartrate and accompanying crystals. Fined and protein (heat ) stabilized with Bentonite clay. Sent to bottle through sterile filtration (Crossflow and then thru a final .45 filter in the bottling line) in January.
Organically grown grapes are vinified in all stainless steel, resulting in this fresh, delightfully textural wine. Lime, pineapple and lemon verbena flavors are backed with refreshing minerality. It’s clean and crisply delicious.
