A dark and brooding Merlot, offering generous aromas of cranberry and cocoa powder with a hint of violets. On the palate, the wine shows ample black cherry, dark chocolate, and freshly roasted coffee supported by polished, but robust tannins. The lengthy finish offers a vanilla bean and nutmeg. Enjoy this serious Merlot with a BBQ skirt steak served with wild rice and sautéed spinach.
