Grapes are sourced from three different suppliers in the Languedoc. The vineyards are between 15 – 70 years old, and the vines are an average of 25 years old. The vineyards have varying aspects, from North to South and East to West. Soils are predominantly clay and limestone.

From parcels of vines located on soils that have been pampered by humans for decades, Paquet Montagnac works tirelessly to ensure the grapes they source are grown in the best conditions. Following strict regulations imposed on their suppliers, their focus is on obtaining high quality, healthy grapes that are rich in aromas, reflecting local terroirs.
The son of a winemaker, Mathieu Paquet worked at his parents’ winery before starting his own Burgundian wine trading company. With his heritage and expertise in wines of Burgundy, Mathieu developed Paquet Montagnac, a range fully dedicated to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, focusing on the purity and the fruitiness of the varietals.
