Don Sebastiani and his two sons, Donny and August, established “Don Sebastiani & Sons” in 2001. Today the company is led by Donny Sebastiani, greatgrandson of Samuele the Sebastiani patriarch. The plan is to continue the progress that previous generations in my family have made, says Donny. I want to have a similar impact on the wine industry. We are focusing on appellation-driven wines that appeal to a more wine-savvy audience.
Rooted in the historic Sonoma Valley since 1904, with additional winery operations in Napa Valley, the family-owned company business encompasses complementary beverage categories, including a robust portfolio of wines sourced from premier growing regions throughout the world.
Regal represents the following brands from Don & Sons:
Custard: “These grapes make a wine that reminds me of one of my favorite childhood indulgences?Sunday morning glazed doughnuts with creamy custard filling…’comfort food’ before I even knew what that was. The first time I stuck my nose into a glass of this Chardonnay, it brought me back to that momentand the idea for comfort wine was born.”
Gunsight Rock: Gunsight Rock wines highlight the richness and beauty of Californias wine country. Wild, intense and adventurous, they evoke the feeling of the sun on your face, the wind at your back, and the view of one of the worlds most picturesque wine regions spread out before you.
Simple Life: Growing up in small town California means being able to enjoy the Simple Life. We walk downtown and shop at family-owned grocery stores, we cook with fresh vegetables and meat from local farms, and we drink wine made by our family and friends who have lived here for generations.
Sivas-Sonoma: “Our inspiration comes from my grandfathers’ can-do spirit. The Sebastiani family passionately continues this heritage into our second century of winemaking in the Sonoma Valley. In every bottle of Sivas-Sonoma (modern-day Turkish derivation of “Sebasteia,” the city named for Emperor Augustus two thousand years ago, and the historical origin of our surname), we pay homage to our family founders who paved the way for our generation of winemakers.”
