2010	Mas d'en Gil	Coma Vella	This is 70 percent garnacha and cariñena, from vines planted in the 1960s, blended with young-vine cabernet sauvignon. It shows plenty of ripe red fruit and notes of chestnuts, tea leaves and cloves. It’s impressive, with youthful tannins and tight acidity, needing a few years to mellow. 2012	Mas d'en Gil	Coma Alta	The clean, subtle and mineral 2012 Coma Alta is pure Garnacha Blanca partly fermented in barrel with 30% of the wine also matured in 500-liter French oak barrels for six months. The aromas are pure, with white flowers and some aromatic herbs plus a touch of pollen. The palate is sleek, delineated,and shows very good balance and subdued minerality.
