Cuvee Reserve Rouge Chateauneuf-du-Pape |
The 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée is slightly reductive. After some time in the glass, it unveils predominantly red fruit aromatics, dried herbs and a dash of white pepper. Not as powerful as either the 2020 or 2019, but packed with ample finesse and beautifully layered. It is a full-bodied, neatly structured offering with a bright finish. |

Cuvee Reserve Rouge Chateauneuf-du-Pape |
The 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée is one of the strongest vintages for this wine in recent history. It is magnificent, soaring from the glass with pungent aromas of crème de cassis, ripe raspberry and strawberry, cured meat, tobacco, licorice, iodine and garrigue. Full-bodied, vibrant to the core and offering a multidimensional profile, this wine is really, really good. The Féraud family and the entire team deserve a round of applause for this sublime Cuvée Réservée, which will still be kicking ass 20 years from now. #49 on the Vinous Top 100 Wines of 2024 |

Chateauneuf-du-Pape ‘Cuvee Laurence’ |
The 2018 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Laurence is opulent and sensual, bursting with pungent aromas of raspberry jam, ripe blackberry and black cherry, garrigue, white pepper and crushed rocks. Essentially, this is the same wine as the Cuvée Réservée, but instead of maturing it for two years, Laurence Féraud keeps it locked away for four, leading to more concentration, slightly elevated alcohol and a firmer tannic structure. It concludes with a long-lasting finish. |

Cuvee Reserve Rouge Chateauneuf-du-Pape |
Aromas of dried rose petals, red and black cherry, exotic spices, iodine, leather and forest floor introduce Pegau's 2018 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée. It is a pale ruby-colored, full-bodied red which saw two years aging in foudre. Pegau fans will be thrilled to recognize their signature distinctive herbal funkiness. The 2018 doesn’t reach the same heights as either the 2020 or 2019, but it is still a solid effort. |

Sweet cherries and wild strawberries meet topsoil, fresh tar and coffee grounds on the nose, and the palate stays bright and light with cherries, metallic notes of flint and soil and angular tannins. Best Buy. |
