The 2021 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin is terrific, with impressive honeyed apple, leafy herbs, mineral, and white peach-driven aromatics. Rich, medium-bodied, round, and textured, with nicely integrated acidity, this textured, elegant, beautiful 2021 will evolve for a decade. |

Sancerre |
Salted citrus, crushed stone, pear, and white flower notes all emerge from the 2022 Sancerre Blanc, a very clean, medium-bodied, crisp, racy white that has bright acidity while staying balanced and textured. Bottled after just three months in concrete, drink this juicy, vibrant white over the coming couple of years. |

Domaine D'Ansignan |
Petites Grappes |
Scheduled to be bottled in June, the 2022 Côtes du Roussillon Les Petites Grappes is the same blend of equal parts Grenache and Carignan. Very different from the 2021, it has more red and black fruit as well as peppery herbs and violets. Rich, full-bodied, and opulent, it stays fresh and lively but is clearly a bigger, richer wine. |

Already bottled, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon brings considerably more richness and ripeness, with ripe black cherry and cassis fruits as well as spice, tobacco, and dried herb notes. Medium-bodied, nicely textured, and fleshy, this balanced, layered, ripe Cabernet has tons of character as well. |
