Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda
Palomino
Currently the Rodriguez Carrasco Family has two vineyards: El Poedo and El Hato.
The vineyard “El Poedo” is located nearby “Los Pagos de Sanlucar de Barrameda”, Jerez Superior area on hills opposite the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, has 47.16 hectares of vineyards, albariza land with permanent moisture from its enclave, providing privileged conditions for vine. The same applies to the vineyard “El Hato”, located on the ring road A-480, which has a small area of 5.7 hectares of land albariza.
This wine undergoes gentle pressing and complete fermentation. Its 15% alcohol volume is obtained by biological aging. Being that it is a product called “pasada en rama,” this wine is a combination of two attributes; one includes the freshness of a product, and the other includes the elegance of its pre-oxidative balance.
Sugar: <5g/L
Biological aging under “velo de flor” – natural yeast covering that develops under the humid conditions in the cellar. This biological aging continues for a period of three to four years in American oak barrels using the traditional ‘criaderas’ and solera system.

Pale yellow color. Intense smell, frank old wood notes, a touch of faded flowers and hints of nuts. Delicate hints of biological aging. In mouth fleshy, very dry, with enough weight, excellent acidity and nice tour with a slightly bitter finish.
