#ProseccoDay
Prosecco is a popular sparkling wine, and for good reason. It offers a range of expressions, from extra brut to off dry, and bursts with citrus, green apple, and honeysuckle notes. The wine is a perfect accompaniment to a charcuterie board, or can be enjoyed as an aperitif or on its own for a celebratory toast. Prosecco hails from north eastern Italy, and is made using the Glera grape and the Charmat method of carbonation, where the secondary fermentation takes place in a pressurized tank. This is different from – and less expensive than – the Champagne method, where secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle itself. This makes Prosecco a good value bubbly. Whatever your reason for raising a glass, we’re sure you’ll find the right wine for you in this collection. If you’re ready to celebrate #ProseccoDay, tag @Pix.wine so we can join you.
