Vineyard

Our vineyards extend over 15 hectares and traditionally, our wine estate is strongly linked to the Valgella sub-zone, where most of our production is concentrated.

Vinification

The San Gervasio vineyard extends over an area of 2,5 hectares in the commune of Teglio at 750 metres. After four years of experimentation, we decided to grow grapes that are suitable for partial drying (appassimento in Italian) in this high-altitude vineyard featuring peculiar characteristics. The resulting wine is Sforzato Ronco del Picchio, whose name refers to a small wooded area behind the vineyard that was studied during the first research phase, always in the hamlet of Carterìa.
