About Solagna del Principe

Solagna del Principe was born in 2019 in Barile, a small town located in the heart of the Vulture wine production. The peculiar volcanic soil of this territory makes the raw materials extraordinary and unique. Our goal is to respect these products and transform them wisely, limiting the use of preservatives and additives as much as possible, in order to offer genuine wines with a great identity.

We transform grapes coming exclusively from vineyards located in the Barile and Vulture areas; Aglianico del Vulture remains the most important and characteristic production, vinified both in red and rosé. Furthermore, we produce the typical sweet, slightly sparkling Moscato and we are the only winery in Southern Italy to vinify a 100% Aromatic Traminer, grown in barrels.

Our production is around 40,000 bottles and we intend to preserve our identity, in order to always guarantee exceptional quality standards.
