The 2014 Spare Me is bright, focused and delineated, as so many wines are in this vintage. The aromatics are really popping today. Rose petal, cinnamon and sweet red berry notes abound in this super-appealing, mid-weight Cabernet from Behrens. Dollops of Merlot and Malbec round out the blend. With an expected price in the $60-65 range, Spare Me is one of the best values in Napa Valley today.
