The full-bodied 2015 Saint Joseph Muletiers comes from 40-year-old vines grown on decomposed granite. Blueberry and plum fruit take the lead, garnished by fresh herbal-stemmy notes that hint at wintergreen. Already reasonably silky and integrated, it will be interesting to follow this wine's evolution over the next decade or so.
